Birth photography is about documenting the raw, powerful, breathtaking moment your baby enters the world. The anticipation, the strength, the first cry, the first touch, the overwhelming rush of love, these are moments that pass in a heartbeat but deserve to be remembered forever.
My approach is quiet, unobtrusive, and deeply respectful. I become a fly on the wall, capturing the emotion and the beauty of your birth story without ever getting in the way. Your birth team, your partner, your experience, they always come first.
What I capture
Every birth is different, and I photograph what feels right for you. This can include the early stages of labour at home or hospital, the support of your partner and birth team, the delivery itself, skin-to-skin contact, first feeds, and those quiet, tender moments in the hours after birth when your new family is coming together for the very first time.
We’ll discuss your boundaries and preferences well before your due date so there are no surprises. Some families want everything documented; others prefer a more selective approach. Both are perfect.
How the on-call process works
I go on-call from 38 weeks. When you feel labour beginning, you contact me and I make my way to you, whether that’s at home, a hospital, or a birthing centre. I am available 24/7 during the on-call period, which means your birth story will be captured no matter when your baby decides to arrive.
Privacy and sensitivity
I understand how intimate and vulnerable this experience is. Everything I capture is for you and your family alone. I will never share or publish any birth images without your explicit permission. Your comfort, your dignity, and your privacy are non-negotiable.
Deposit and booking
A 50% non-refundable deposit is due within 7 days of booking to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your expected due date. I only take a limited number of birth bookings per month to ensure I can be fully available for you when the time comes.
